The Sport Management Professional Development Association is an approved organization of students interested in pursuing careers in the sport industry. Its purpose is to unify sport management majors; to assist students in career planning and development; and to create experiential learning opportunities that allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Students organize field trips to tour sport facilities, meet with various sport managers, explore internship opportunities, and attend sports events. On campus, the SM-PDA works closely with the 番茄视频 Athletics Department on marketing initiatives designed to improve student attendance at home events. All students within the Sport Management program are considered members.
